Whenever I’ve talked about gift ideas, it has always been for someone else. Well, today, I decided to make a list of the gifts I would like to receive. (Hopefully, my husband will read this post.)

- Full length comfy bathrobe
- Watch
- Perfume (I like Tommy Bahama for Women.)
- Vanity tray
- My car to be completely detailed
- My house to be professionally cleaned
- Additional place settings for my china pattern

- For the honey do list to be complete, i.e.

And of course, first and formost I wish for the health and happiness of my family and friends. Without them, the rest doesn’t matter.

My sister came down to visit us for her 19th birthday. While she was here, I asked her to give me some ideas as to what she would like for her birthday. Since she is a new college student I was interested to know what kind of gifts or accessories she would want. It’s been a while since I was in college so I wanted to get back in touch. I remember when I first started college I didn’t have money to spend on anything I wanted. Giving a gift is the easiest way to let someone know your thinking of them and that you care for them. Hopefully this list will help give you some ideas to surprise that special person in your life with a gift. I know it surprised my sister.
Well, here is her wishlist:
- Video Games and Accessories (for PSP and Wii)
- MP3 Player
- Purses
- Spa Day (manicure, pedicure, highlights)
Sunglasses
- Digital Camera
- Car Accessories
- Flowers
- Chocolate Cake
- Chocolate
- Clothes (jeans)
- Shoes
- Laptop
- Puppy (dog)
- Music
And of course, she put gift cards on her list also. This is always a safe way to go (just make sure it’s for a store she likes).
Her list allowed me to get her something she really wanted. I hope this list works just as well for you.

Once again, we’re on the birthday circuit. And this time around, the birthday girls are between the ages of 5 and 7. This is a list of the things they asked for.
- My Little Pony

- Bratz
- Polly Pocket
- Beauty play set
- Mermaids
- Cheetah Girls
- Barbie anything
- Art supplies
- Dora the Explorer
- Hannah Montana
- Disney Princess
- Puppy vet kits
For more ideas, Yahoo! Shopping has a Toys for Girls, Top 10 List. If none of these ideas work, a giftcard to Toys”R”Us or Target goes over very well. And keep in mind, it’s the thought (and the gift receipt) that counts.

I guess the saying is true, big boys like big toys. This list definitely isn’t universal, but it may give you some ideas for the man/men in your life. Allgiftideasforyou.com also has some good ideas with ratings, pricing and vendor links. And there’s always the fallback gift (a Home Depot or Best Buy giftcard). Happy Shopping!
